Surrender

Day 39

As we come to a close on our 40 days of Worship of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we want to talk about surrender. Surrender means to give up in favor of another, to relinquish possession or control of something. In the physical world we live in, we are taught not to surrender, not to give up, more like this do or die mentality. But in the spirit world, in our faith in Jesus Christ, we have to give up, to surrender to Him. We have to come before Him and surrender our sins, our worldly ways, our hearts to His desire, to His will. Surrender is also repentence, repenting from past sins and worldly ideals or things you have done in the past and present, so that you can go into His world, His presence, His ways of life. He wants nothing but the best for you and He will fight your battles, He will lead you to still waters, to green pastures, if you just simply surrender to Him. Let Jesus come into your heart today and bless you tremendously.

Our song is a beautiful song that has been sung for generations across this world. I surrender all sung by Robin Mark.

Scripture for Today

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1 NIV

Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, I surrender Lord, not to the ways of this world, but to your Heavenly ways, to Your Will Lord, to Your instruction. Lord I ask for Your Wisdom to guide me along this journey to right the wrongs in my life Lord, to be a pleasing child of God before You.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen.
