be Found
Day 28
As we get older, this world tries so hard to keep us down, to bury us in work, or debt, or worry. It can be troubling some days just worrying about how to get by, how to keep food on the table, or even to have someone to talk to. This world wants you lost to its ways, but don't fret, there is someone ready to help. Our Saviour we follow is the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. He cares very deeply for us. Let us come and worship together a Saviour who rejoices when we are found, who will lay down the 99 to come find you, and bring you home.
Scripture for Today
Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:3-7 NIV
Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Thank You Lord for chasing after us, and rejoicing when we are found and brought home with You. Lord, we pray for all of those lost to this world, our family members, our friends, our coworkers, our neighbors, please Lord, let them hear your voice so while there is still time, we pray that You will find them and bring them Home!
